The Brick’s Win A Sealy Bloomfield Queen Mattress Set Thunder Bay Contest

1. GENERAL

The contest shall be conducted by The Brick Warehouse LP (“The Brick”) exclusively at The Brick’s Thunder Bay 869 Fort William Road, Thunder Bay, Ontario location (hereinafter referred to as “Store”). A participant shall be referred to as “You” or “Your”.

Ways to enter:

If You finalize a purchase of any sleep item which category includes: mattresses, boxsprings, adjustable bases, platform bases, pillows, comforters, bedsheets, mattress protectors, at the Store during the Contest Dates, using any payment method, You will be automatically entered to win the Grand Prize (an “Entry”). Each purchase Entry receives an extra Entry (total of two Entries per finalized purchase).

No purchase necessary method of entry:

To enter without purchase, You can attend the Store location and complete a digital Entry.

The use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited. Any attempt to manipulate the Contest will result in You being disqualified.

Contest dates: Commencing Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. EST, until the close of business on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. EST (“Contest Period”)

“Draw Date” – Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. MST

Odds of winning decrease as the number of compliant purchases are made, or Entries submitted, increase during the Contest Period.

2. PRIZE

There is one (1) prize to be won:

One (1) Sealy Bloomfield Queen Mattress Set (ITEM CODE: BLMFLDQP) – RETAIL: $1,799.00.

The Winner can upgrade to a King mattress set, at their cost, if they choose. Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.

3. ELIGIBILITY

The contest is open to all Ontario residents who have reached the age of majority on or before the commencement of the Contest Period, except employees, representatives, agents, and affiliates of The Brick and Leon's Furniture Ltd. and their immediate family members living in the same household.

You must live within the Thunder Bay postal code region and/or within one hundred (100) km of the Store address.

You agree to abide by the contest rules as set out herein, subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.

It is a condition of eligibility that the Winner authorizes The Brick to announce and publish his/her name, address and photograph, without remuneration or consideration, in any forthcoming publicity.

4. DRAW DATES AND PROCEDURES FOR DETERMINING WINNER

On the Draw Date, a representative from The Brick’s head office in Edmonton, AB will draw and record two (2) ballots to obtain one (1) winner (“Eligible Winner”). The additional entry drawn is a back-up entry in the event that the initial Eligible Winner is non-responsive after contact, fails to comply with the Contest Rules, or is unable to complete the skill-testing question (“Alternate Winner”).

The Brick representative will use his/her reasonable efforts to contact the Eligible Winner by phone or e-mail after the Draw Date. If an Eligible Winner cannot be reached by telephone or has not contacted The Brick within three (3) days of The Brick leaving messages to do so (“Contact Date”), then that person will be disqualified, and The Brick shall proceed to contact the Alternate Winner.

5. DECLARING WINNERS

The Eligible Winner whose entry form has been selected on the Draw Date must:

1. within three (3) business days following the Contact Date, correctly answer a time limited, arithmetical skill-testing question without the assistance of any person or mechanical/recording device(s). The skill-testing process shall be administered at a pre arranged time and place; and
2. execute a declaration and release form confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the Prize.

Should an Eligible Winner fail to answer the skill-testing question correctly or is unable to attend at the time and place designated by The Brick for the administration of same, that Eligible Winner shall be disqualified, and the skill-testing question shall be administered to the Alternate Winner.

6. PRIVACY POLICY:

By entering the Contest, You agree to The Brick’s use of Your personal information for the purpose of administering this Contest and in accordance with The Brick’s Privacy Policy.

The Brick will use the contact information provided in contest entries for administration of this Contest. By entering this contest, You acknowledge and agree to give permission to The Brick to collect, use and disclose Your personal information in accordance with The Brick’s privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”). The Brick is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information You have provided herein. From time to time The Brick may use Your personal information to ascertain Your needs and market to You through commercial electronic messages, including Automatic Dialing Announcing Device telemarketing. 7. OTHER

The Brick reserves the right to amend or vary the contest rules, including the imposition or addition of new rules which are deemed necessary for business efficacy.

The Brick’s records of the winner selection process or any other aspect of this contest shall be final and conclusive for all purposes relating to this contest.

The Winner’s name shall be available upon request provided such demand is made within three months following the end of the Contest, by emailing: contests@thebrick.com and identifying the appropriate contest “Win a Sealy Bloomfield Queen Mattress Set – Thunder Bay Contest”.
